How to earn money as a student

College life is that aspect of our life which gives us the most beautiful and helpful lessons. We all want to enjoy more, shop for trendy fashion, partying and many more kinds of stuff. But most of the time the problem we face is that we are broke. Every student who belongs to a middle-class family faces this type of problem, but they could not ask their parents for more help. These money related issues affect us the most in our college lives. But are these problems so genuine that it can stop us from living our lives to the fullest?
The answer is no. There are so many options available in the market for students that earning money is not such a big issue. Here, I’m creating a list of options that a student can try:

1. Paid Internships:

Nothing can be better than doing an internship where you can learn and earn at the same time. Paid internships are those where you make money for the task you do. It also helps you in making a good resume. Finding an internship is not so difficult these days, you can visit sites like Internshala,  letsintern and many other websites like these.

2. Tutor:

The job of a tutor is the most amazing one. A tutor gets paid for teaching. Find some students in your locality or online who needs tuitions, teach them and make money for yourself. You can search for a good teaching job on websites like urbanpro.

3. Sell your old stuff:

Sell those stuff of yours which are of no use for you now like-old books-novels and video-games and stuff. This would help you to get rid of your old materials and increase your earning. Selling used materials is quite easy with websites like- olxquikr and many others.

4. Do some freelancing work:

Freelancing these days is a better way to earn these days where you are paid for the tasks you do online. There are many freelancing websites where you can share your work and earn money. Online websites like, are the best ones to try for freelancing jobs.

5. Work in some cafe :

This type of work allows you to have flexible work hours and can help you to earn money. You can save your time for academics and other work this way and can utilize your free time by working there so to make money out of it. One can do a part-time job in KFC, McDonald’s, CCD and other such cafeterias to add on to your pocket.

6. Start-ups:

If you have a nice idea that needs no initial funding and you can make money out of it. Then surely you can go for starting a start-up where you can do work of your choice and are paid for it.

Overall, money-making these days is not a hard nut to crack. All you need is a will to work and would find the way because “where there is a will, there is a way.”
All the best! 🙂
